Established in 1995 under the Trust Act and also registered under FCRA, CEDRA (Center for Education Developmental Research and Action) is a modest attempt to reach out to the poor, downtrodden and oppressed citizens to envisage an equitable and balanced society. To empower the masses through awareness generation, education, community participation besides undertaking developmental activities for their enrichment by establishing linkages with Government’s, Non-Government Organization’s development programmers and through Natural Resource Management, is a cherished dream of CEDRA.
Presently CEDRA is carrying out programs on Health, education, livelihoods and Infrastructure with international organizations like CAIRN India and HelpAge India. It implements projects like Safe Drinking Water (Community based RO Plants), General Health camps and Micro level Intervention like School Enrollment, Plantations, Pediatrician interventions with ICDS, Road and Work safety workshops, Women and youth Empowerment through Skill building training (Computer, Tailoring, Agarbatti making etc)
